MORE than £1m is to invested creating a new dental school at Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary, it was announced today. Health chiefs and MP Eric Martlew hope the area’s first dental education centre will provide a long-term solution to Cumbria’s growing NHS dentist shortage.
