GUBA (http://www.guba.com) is a small, profitable, leading edge, technology company, looking for an extremely talented and hungry web developer to join our team. The ideal person for this position is a hard worker who is eager to contribute and who enjoys being creative and having fun. Our office is in a great location downtown and just a few blocks from BART and MUNI.

The nitty-gritty:
• Implement design deliverables and specs in HTML/CSS/etc.
• Work with the engineering team to integrate front end designs with our back end technologies
• Work with the marketing team and designers to spec out and rapidly prototype new UI features and functions
• Make minor graphical modifications to the site as required
• Work with QA to find and resolve bugs, browser incompatibilities and UI difficulties
• Watch the competition, stay abreast of the latest technologies and techniques, and make recommendations for enhancements to GUBA’s products and technologies. Be proactive.

If you are the right person for this job you’ll have the following qualifications in some, if not all,of the web development arts, including:
• Expert (or guru) in HTML/DHTML
• Expert at creating and manipulating CSS layouts
• Expert JavaScript, superb XHTML/XML and good AJAX
• Experience integrating front-end code with one or more server-side scripting technologies (e.g., CGI/PERL, PHP, etc.) using a templating language like JSP or Text::Template
• Ability to understand and manage cross-browser compatibility issues
• Bonus Points for:
o Experience with PERL and MySQL
o Experience authoring/editing XML
o Basic Graphic Design skills (including: Photoshop and Illustrator)
o Flash/ActionScript experience

Can anyone recommend a good dentist that wont charge me an arm and a leg to take my teeth ? (I did try the Ginninderra Medical and DENTAL Centre, only to be informed that they dont actually have a dentist.. )...
