That led over the years to decay and gum disease and I want to take care of it before it gets any worse. My wife had the same surgery about a month ago. Combined, we’ll pay about $2,500 out of pocket for the surgeries… Make your kids floss! Daily!!! Take a lesson from me on how to NOT take care of your teeth well enough! The treatment is painful for extended periods, the effects will last the rest of my life, and I’m gonna have to eat soup for the next week - not the most highly recommended way to lose weight! Today I had “scaling” done. That’s where they hook up the gas and you get real happy and real relaxed before they start with some sort of tiny sonic tool that blasts tartar and buildup off your teeth. I was very glad for the gas. I love that stuff. I also got wise and took my Sony Walkman. I don’t have an iPod yet (but am hoping for one this year for Christmas - hint, hint), but I have a CD player that can play MP3’s which means I can’t haul 10,000 songs to the dentist - I can only haul 1,000. Dang… My next posting will probably be from my recovery bed… I don’t have anything else to post at the moment, but I’m sure I’ll be bored to death from lying in bed watching TV and popping pain killers. Mmmmmmm! Jello! I wonder if they have BBQ flavored jello? Or BEER flavored jello!? If anyone knows who I can contact with these ideas, please post here!
