May 30th, 2005 600-Pound Tiger Gets Root Canal LODI, Calif. - Many dentists have a difficult time performing root canals on scared humans. So it's no surprise that a root canal on a 600-pound Bengal tiger required three dentists, an oral surgeon, a veterinarian - and plenty of courage. USA Today Bye Bye, TacomaPublished in: Internet News Search: dentist July 13th, 2005 ...and Dana too! The Tacoma was picked up last night and began its trek to Washington. One of those big Semi's that hauls loads of cars all at once came to get it. We had to drive to a nearby shopping center to meet the driver because his truck is too big for residential streets and he needs space for loading cars. Here's Dana with Mike a.k.a. "Mr. Truck Driver". ...and here's the Tacoma being loaded up....I had fun watching this. I always wondered how those carrying things worked. Here's Anna Grace being less than interested in the whole procedure. She insisted on just watching The Wiggles.
The next four days will be consumed with looking at houses and hopefully we'll find one we like....or atleast one we can live with for a while! I return home late Sunday night. Dana will stay in Seattle, he starts work on Monday. To add to the excitement, we are taking two of the cats with us tomorrow. Flying with cats....accross the country. This should be fun.... HAH! They will be staying behind with Dana. Bicoastal marriage, bicoastal pet ownership. Whatever! I hope there will be lots of knitting completed during my flights. But...I'm quite tired. I usually can't sleep on an airplane but this may be an exception. When we get on that flight tomorrow morning I will probably... I haven't touched the Here and There cables scarf since last posting a photo. I did make one slipper sock for Dana. Note....only one has been made. Hopefully the other will be completed en route to Seattle. We shall see. I'll try to post while I'm gone but if not, type to ya next week. Toodles!
